DIP DYED TECHNIQUE
This logo guarantees that the footwear with this certificate was made using the dip dyed technique: once assembled and complete, the “neutral” shoe is coloured using a special process, by dipping it into special vats containing natural dyes.
A totally craft-based technique, dip dying dates back to ancient Egyptian times, and the process is still carried out manually at constant temperatures today, followed by a 24-hour drying period in a protected environment.
Bright and intense colours may change in shade and intensity with daily use, giving the leather a natural vintage look.
Such changes must not be understood to be defects, but rather the expression of this particular workmanship, concrete proof of its authenticity.
